The piece
Not a costume. The Brim is a vintage cardboard witch-hat wall piece — the sort of thing a 1958 five-and-dime would have hung in the window, not put on a head. Matte black paper brim, cream band, a nail through the peak. It lives on the plaster, above the radiator, next to the cat. Leave it up past the thirty-first if the room still wants it.
